Out of Order

How I spend my time instead of blogging.

I've never wanted to give up on this blog. I really haven't, even though my frequent extended hiatuses might indicate otherwise. Those and the overwhelming backlog of pictures and experiences that have yet to be shared - trips to Stockholm, Belgium, and London, the road trip with my parents, and various visits from friends just to name a few. And because I haven't kept up with posting, the guilt spiral that I hurdle myself into anytime I even think about the blog is painfully depressing.

This was supposed to be a fun way to share!

So I'm taking the blog back from my guilty conscience. I'm going to stop waiting until I have the motivation to catch up on everything all at once. No longer will I sit back until the perfect occasion to start up again presents itself!

My plan is to move forward with the hope of peppering past adventures among future posts. I have a tendency to quit as soon as something isn't perfect (but I don't like to proof read or self-edit? I know, it doesn't make sense). But if I am now able to accept that life and blog posts are sometimes imperfect and out of order, I'm sure you are able to as well.

  1. It's about time girlie! I check in with your blog, Desma's and Colette's. You all have such distinctive writing styles, they are a pleasure and joy to read. Also, to see what you see is an added bonus. I loved the photos of the visit from your parents. It looked like you all had such a good time. Enjoy life, don't sweat the small stuff... just upload a few pictures now and again, no need to be all wordsy and that, just a few descriptives on the photos and you're good. (((hugs)))
